Born in 2020 is our place-to-go for a fine dining in Lisbon. After trying most of the starred restaurants in the capital of Portugal that often fell below expectations, Cura focuses on Portuguese cuisines and spirits and does it right. Dinner only place, no a’la carte, just 5 or 10 course menu, great ambience and music. The signature dish being squid pasta. Wine menu offers variety of well-aged dessert wines from less obvious regions. Make sure to try 80-years old Carcavelos bottled in 1981 and put into the barrels in 1911. The vineyard is no longer there. And there were only 40 bottles left last time we visited. Hurry up!
